You can now submit a ticket and request IT help form the IT Help Desk through Slack!
Instructions:
- Please navigate to the slack channel #helpdesk
- Once in the channel please type @Zendesk in your message (Must have capital "Z")
- When you press enter Slack will ask you if you want to create a ticket
- Click the Create a ticket button in Slack and a form will appear – it will look like this:
- Fill out the form – name the problem in the subject and add more description and details in the description – and press submit Note: If you are on mobile, you may need to select your name from the drop down under "Requester" (You do not need to select an Assignee)
Congratulations! You have now created a Help Desk Ticket using Slack chat!
